Three main odds formats are used in cricket betting — decimal, fractional and American. All three express the same thing in different ways.

Fractional odds of 5/4 mean ৳5 profit for every ৳4 staked — so on a ৳500 bet that is ৳625 profit, with a total return of ৳1,125.
American odds work a little differently. A positive number (+125) shows the profit on a ৳100 bet. For the negative side, consider the favourite: Team B's odds to win are 1.50 (decimal), which is 1/2 in fractional and -200 in American. This means Team B is the favourite — a ৳500 bet returns ৳750 (৳250 profit). American minus odds show how much you need to stake to make ৳100 profit.
Among the three formats, decimal is the most straightforward and is most commonly used on Bangladeshi platforms.
